At all YMCA Cape Cod Child Care Centers, children are exposed to an abundance of learning experiences that nurture the healthy development of each child. We provide 
infants through school-age youth an environment that is safe yet challenging, fun yet structured. Free swim instruction, adventure hikes, physical education programs, and field trips are just some of the unique activities we offer to foster personal growth, independence and individuality for the precious little people in our care.
The Y's mission, to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities, is part of everything we do. Our qualified staff provide a caring environment that encourages young minds to grow, explore, and appreciate the world in which they live. Physical, emotional, social, and cognitive skills are nurtured with each child's individuality emphasized throughout the daily developmentally appropriate curriculum. High value is placed on the fruits of creativity and independence which makes the day an enjoyable mix of play, learning, and challenge. Children become more confident with themselves, other children, adults, and the world around them.

West Barnstable

Located within our Route 132 facility, Children's Crossing offers full-day child care to children ages 3 months to 5 years. Harwich

The YMCA in partnership with St. Peters Lutheran Church and Christ Church Episcopal (both located in Harwich) provide quality child care. Conveniently located right off the Mid-Cape highway at exit 11 in Harwich at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. For more information, please call 508-432-5737.

At Our West Barnstable Facility
Ages 5-12 Years
This program offers experience-based opportunities for school-aged children such as instructional and recreational swim, recreational play, and arts and crafts. Includes transportation from Barnstable Schools. When your child's school is not in session, due to holidays or teacher in-service days, we provide programming! At Our Camp Lyndon Center in Sandwich
Kindergarten - 8th Grade
Serving most Barnstable Schools
This program offers quality child care with an outdoor focus featuring archery, canoeing, drama, environmental education, gardening, high and low ropes course, music, arts and crafts, outdoor living skills, cooking, and traditional sports. Transportation available at no additional cost from Sandwich and Marstons Mills schools. For Kindergartners, this program starts after morning kindergarten is over.
